Welcome to Teviot Angling Club. By using our services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which govern the use of our website, membership, and activities. Please read these terms carefully.

2. Membership

  • Eligibility: Membership is available to individuals who are over 18 and have an interest in angling.
  • Registration: You must complete the membership registration process, providing accurate and current information.
  • Membership Fees: Membership fees must be paid annually and are non-refundable, except as provided for in these Terms.
  • Access: Upon registration, you will receive access to members-only areas, including exclusive fishing waters and competitions.

3. Competitions & Events

  • Participation: By entering our competitions, you agree to comply with the specific rules for each event. Details of upcoming competitions will be published on the website and communicated to members.
  • Prizes: Any prizes won in competitions are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Use Of Facilities

  • Huts and Accommodation: Members may book huts and accommodation on a first-come, first-served basis. A booking is only confirmed once payment is received.
  • Fishing Waters: Access to private fishing waters is granted to members only and is subject to availability and club rules.
  • Behaviour: All members are expected to behave in a respectful manner while on Teviot Angling Club premises. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of membership.

5. Restrictions

  • Prohibited Activities: The following activities are prohibited on club premises:
    • Use of illegal substances
    • Behaviour that disturbs other members
    • Damaging club property or natural resources

6. Limitation Of Liability

Teviot Angling Club is not liable for any loss or injury sustained by members while using our facilities, attending events, or engaging in any fishing-related activities.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of NZ courts.

8.Changes To Terms

Teviot Angling Club reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
